All HSPs are different and need a personalized strategy for what works best for them. And because Julie took the time to understand the HSP trait, and how it shows up for me personally, she helped me interface with a desensitized world that doesn’t understand my traitor how I need to operate in the world.
And by helping me understand the reality of this trait, and how it
shows up for me, Julie gave me permission to create a lifestyle that served my needs first, which allowed me to serve others better.
Without that self-sustainability plan in place, I was often overwhelmed, exhausted, and I second guessed things too much.
This plan helped me honor my trait so that it worked for me and not against me. As a deep feeler and deep thinker my energy levels would drain quickly. To avoid overwhelm and overstimulation, I craved structure, but needed the flexibility
to honor my energy levels.
This is where Julie helped me with the energy of non-judgement and self-compassion towards myself. She’s really good at helping me with the practical and pragmatic aspects of the structure I craved, while still allowing for grace and room to be flexible without shame or guilt.
